Mr. Morris is currently on tour with the
Frederick Douglass Dialogues. The tour will reach more than 50,000
people over a 50-day period. During the tour he and his mom were
featured on
CNN Newsroom with Kyra Phillips to talk about the work of their
organization, the Frederick Douglass Family Foundation.
In January 2009, leading up to the presidential inauguration, he and
his mom were featured in Newsweek Magazine and a
Newsweek Video project
commemorating the Inauguration of President-Elect Obama.
Mr. Morris feels fortunate to be able to
devote his time and energy to the Frederick Douglass Family Foundation and
its mission to end modern-day slavery. In addition to his duties with FDFF,
he serves on the boards of Kaleidoscope Arts Factory, Africa Global
Partnership, Inc. and the advisory committee to establish a Human Rights
Center at Howard University.
